Yesterday was cloudy, gloomy and rainy all day! It wasn't a bad nor a hard rain; just a light drizzly rain. We always need a little rain here in Southern California! But today - today is bright, clear, a bit breezy with a chilly air, but the sun is out and it is such a pretty day!
Yesterday, in the rain, of course, we went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. JL was Dr. Watson! It was a great movie, modern story line with a Victorian-England twist. The photography was great and it was fun!
I've been working on the scrapbook pages for my nephew's-in-law mission scrapbook! Scrapbook! Ha! It is now at about 175 pages! I'ver ordered 6 albums and a ton of page protectors! I have enjoyed doing this project, but I really want it to be completed! I've not been able to concentrate on anything else for two years! I'm trying to use my time this week to forge ahead! There are still about 150 pictures to scrap!
One nice thing about having a laptop computer and a wireless network is I can still be on the internet from time to time whilst still being in the craft room!
Have a Happy New Year!

On Vacation
Well, maybe this is what is called a "staycation". I've not gone anywhere, I'm just not at work, however, with computers, I can still work! But it is more on my terms, which is just fine. When I go back to the office next week everyone can get in my face then! LOL
I've had a great holiday! The day after Christmas we took my 13 year old niece to Disneyland - this has been a "tradition" now for a few years. We always enjoy it! This year was especially fun because her sisters got to come along this year as well! They're all grown up and living away from home, so it is not easy to get everyone together. We had a great day though! At the end of the day we took all the kids, including a nephew-in-law, and a friend, out to dinner at the Napa Rose. It is a very nice restaurant and was a great way to end the day!
I'm doing laundry, playing on Farm Town and working in the craft room! With a laptop computer and a wireless network I can truly multi-task! But the question is, should I? Do I really get more done? Do I really enjoy things more? Not sure!
Oh, for my birthday, which is 15 days before Christmas, I got the Rock Band Beatles! Wowsa! That has been fun! The animation is amazing! And the programming that must go into something like that is mind-boggling! But I have been having a blast playing and singing along with all the great Beatles music! Even after all these years, their music is awesome!
Off to the laundry room!

What a Great Day!
Sorry I didn't get back after my birthday adventure at Disneyland yesteray! It was a perfect day! Earlier in the week rain had been predicted for Thursday! I was so happy when it turned out to be a sunny, even if chilly, beautiful day! I couldn't have asked for a better day! I started the day by going on the Merry-Go-Round in Fantasyland! I went on Pinnochio, the Storybookland Canal Boats, Indiana Jones, It's A Small World, well, just everywhere! I had a great lunch at the Blue Bayou - my favorite all-time sandwhich, the Monte Cristo! Yummy! I even did a little Christmas shopping and found out that premium passholders received a 20% discount! Wowsa! That was coolio! It was just such a happy day!
When I got home, Corey had left birthday roses out for me and my birthday present! The Beatles Rock Band set! Wowsa wowsa! I'm so stoaked! We went out to dinner for my birthday. I had creme brulee as my first course! Then when we got home we played with the Beatles Rock Band on the Wii for a couple of hours! I'm so jazzed! I just love the Beatles and their music! The graphics and the programming that had to go into it all, is just amazing!
I'm going to play with it some more later on! I know we'll have to add another guitar! It came with the bass, Paul plays bass, and I've always, well, maybe not always always, but for a long time have thought it would be fun to learn electric bass!

Happy Birthday to Me!
Ok, so I've not gotten off to a great start with this new blog! It's been a busy week! More later! But for now, I am on my way to Disneyland for my birthday! Whoo hoo! I'm going to have lunch at the Blue Bayou! I called to get a reservation the other day! Last table at the time I wanted! How lucky was that? I'm going to have my favorite, the Monte Cristo sandwich! Okay, off I go!

The First Step
I have a blog somewhere. It has been so long since I wrote in it, I do not even recall where it is or what it was called. I'm on the laptop right now, so perhaps when I get back to the desktop I may find it. I am hoping to have more luck this time around. I had a hard time in deciding on a name - the name of something should reflect the purpose or goal of the blog, or article, etc. However, I have far too many interests to dedicate a blog to just one thing. Hence, the root of my problem - never enough time to spend on the things that interest me because there are just too many of them! I may talk about my projects, or I may gripe about something I hear in the news. I cannot promise myself, or you, that I will be faithful and write everyday! However, I shall try!
